Ngong RFC name Warriors for Menengai Battle

Captain Endro Otieno is at blindside flank as Ngong prepare for the biggest game of their lives – against Menengai Oilers in the Nationwide semis at the Kibiko Secondary School on Saturday 6 May starting 4 pm.

Otieno will be joined by Kissinger Karin at flank and Paul Agina at number 8 to complete the back row for Ngong.  

Jamleck Muriuki, Martin Kariuki and Reuben Simba are at front row as Daniel Githanga and Isaac Ng’anga at lock complete the tight five listing. 

Brian Tipape and Victor Wachira are the half back pairing for the day while Joel Omondi and Brian Adira man the wings. Centres Elly Monday and vice skipper Duke Monday complete the three quarters.

A strong bench is in place that includes the returning Henry Masinde and Dennis Momanyi.

The winner of the upcoming tie will book a place in the second tier Championship next season as well as a place in the Nationwide final next weekend.

To book a semis berth, Ngong took down Central champions Embu RFC 24-7 in the quarters last Saturday as Oilers beat Maseno Nomads 20-3.
